Question roll cage for 03 convertable

I was wondering if anyone here has had a roll cage put in a 03 convertable? If so who did it and do you have any pictures?

roll bar

try this: facasengineering.com/cobra If you have trouble, go to www.yellowmustang registry.com, then click on owners list, then click on '03 owners, and scroll down to Matthew Facas, #2313...Falls Church, Va. Steve

I installed a raod racing version from steeda. They said no problem to do and gave me a single page instruction sheet that covered about 10 years of cars. It wasnt that simple. It can be done, but when you take the rear seat back out youll have to undo the hog clips holding the upholstery. Then cut the vertical seat back frames for a section of about 3 inches on each side. This is so that the bar that doesnt interfere with the side panel can actually squeez the seat over. Short of that and some difficulty with alignment of the bar at all locations to be bolted, its not bad. I all, I spent close to 8 hours doing it. Sorry, no pictures but i did find someone who had posted some on line. Dont know where, do a general search.

Twice Bitten, Carl G, and Herny from the south central region are having one put into their 03 cars shortly.

I will pass this along to them to post pics when they pick the cars up.

the one I installed from steeda has the diagonal bar for road racing. This makes it a pain to get in and out of. Other than that as you mignt imagine the side bars effect shoulder room .

Kenny Brown Roll Cage

Hello -
I'm new here.

I'm looking at the Kenny Brown roll cage for my '03 convert. Doesn't have the side bars of the Steeda. Here is a link -
