Lancer Evolution = Smoked
Rolling starts from 40, from 80... pulled on him.
Off the line, RUINED him. I heard these were quick?

Are these things a Mitsubishi? If so, I think I met one at CMP and could never catch it after I gave him the "wave by". Next year will be different though.

Well, after he passed my 94 Cobra, I couldn't catch him again! That really sucked! I was so tempted to go and get the Mystic the next day just for principle!

Well, I just happen to go into Walden bookstore this weekend and they had a WRX vs. Evo article. I was freaking shocked that both of those cars stock were running 13.3 to 13.5 in the 1/4 mile. I said to myself, no wonder I couldn't catch that Evo at CMP. They are rated around 300 hp and that's Cobra territory. Guess next year I'll have to let the Evo see different colors when I go around him.... This is the only thing those cars will see next year at the track!

Evo's can be real quick. I have seen them go 13.3 bone stock here at HRP. The biggest factor is the driver. If they are willing to do a 5k launch, they will pull some mean 60fts.
Nice kill They can be extremely lethal in open track

Thanks Firme
I was pretty proud of my lil NA 5 Litre. I'm going up north to Apex Motorsports for a custom chip end of May, just before I take off for TN! Hopefully they can find a few more ponies hiding somewhere...

my best friend has a 03 EVO with about $3000 in mods it runs 12.7's in the 1/4. Its the fastest on take off due to 3200 Lbs and all wheel dive. Acording to a G-tech 0-60 are 4.6. The gears in the car are just so close. Not as bad as a sti though. The sti has 1 shift to 30, 2 shifts to 60 and 4 shifts in the 1/4. thats banging some gears

They did find a couple ponies hiding!
My final run ended up 275 HP, 290 Ft-lbs to the wheels. This was a run with the motor not really at optimum temp, so they said it may be putting out a little more that that. The real difference though was about 15 HP and 20 ft lbs across the whole band for me from my last dyno... I think some day I will put a stroker crank in the car, or build a 351, but I guess those numbers arent bad for a 5.0 on basically all FRPP products.
