This is awesome!! But the choice is the '03. Taking the 97 up to True blue for some oil system upgrades.

Thank you. Be sure to take everything into consideration if you're thinking about side exhaust. They rub on everything (ground, speed bumps, etc.), you are very limited in sub frame connector choices, you can't make it loud with the borla mufflers. It just doesn't get loud. I've got long tubes and I tried the off road H-pipe, now i've got an off road Dr Gas X-pipe, and it's still very tame. Also, they are restrictive so I've been told....... So don't expect any power gains from them.

Josh

22 years old, and i've been on my own since I was 17....... Not rich at all, these 2 cars are just about all I've got. I make $19,600 a year, and I bet about $15000 of that goes into these cars. I can live off of Ramen noodles like it's my job. :

I started to say you at least need to get rid of the "4X4 look" but then I read this and I concur. If you go any lower then you'll have to not only worry about this rubbing, but the long tubes, et all.

Still a great looking car though

The 4x4 look was originally gone. Basically, the Eibach drag springs made the car like that. I put them on (the rear sets okay), but the front looks like that. So, I cut the front springs, and got the stance perfect, and after about a week, the springs settled, and it dropped well over 2 inches total. So the ride was terrible, the were no longer functional (drag spring wise), and the clearance went to poopie. So, the eibachs are in the rear, the stockers are back on the front, and that's where the look comes from. I'm leaving it like that until I can afford a tubular K with coil overs. That'll give me the soft spring rate that I want, and the adjustablility of ride height that I so desperately need. Just don't have the dough to do that just yet.

Off subject, but that's one of my favorite movies next to Christmas Vacation
