Cool Hello SVT COBRA MUSTANG CLUB !

Hello

What a wonderful site.

Being a new (to me) Cobra owner, I have surfed the web looking at 'Mustang' sites until I ran accross this site. I have found more information a good links for my Cobra in the little time I have been here than I have on all the other Mustang sites combined that I went to.

A very informative and user friendly site.

I think I might spend my Saturday going to you Car Show at Young Ford.

Thanks for being here.

Yeah you got me...
(if I had got there any later you all would have been gone)

I never even considered entering my car. It's a daily driver.... (couldn't own it and not be able to drive it every day)

I commute 40+ miles (one way) a day in it and some days it's not a pretty as I wish it was. ... for a daily driver it's pretty clean but nothin' like some of those that were at the show. They were fabulous.

Mine's also a daily driver, 99 Cobra convertible with 106,000 miles on it. I also have a tough time getting it clean enough to compete with the trailer queens. I have recently been talking up the daily driver class at car shows, such as the one in August at Parkway Ford.

I've seen a judging sheet with a mileage adjustment, added points for high mileage, provided the car is clean enough to get high marks.

I totally agree, why have a Cobra if you don't drive it?

Hey do you guys ever do any events out here in CA, specifically the San Francisco area? You guys are having too much fun out there. I've been dying to take my car to a show or to cruise with a bunch of other cobras

Tony,

We just had a cruise in Northern CA last month. Check the front page of the website for the coverage. www.svtcobraclub.com . Also e-mail Doug and tell him you want to go out and have some fun with the next trip he is planning in NorCal. His e-mail address is d.filter@comcast.net , He will be excited to have more people join in on the upcoming SCMC events in Northern CA!

Dave and Dave,

Do not concern yourselves with the daily driver class as we have mileage credits ranging from .5 points to 3 points. I believe they combined the daily driver class at Young Ford show because we did not have enough entries.

Even though I park my new 04 in the garage, I do try to drive it as much as I can but when you have 3 snakes, it's hard. I daily drive the 94 coupe, I take the Indy car out on dry days and the Mystichrome will be at the track events. On the weekends that I do not go to an SCMC event, I usually drive to our relative's house and then I drive my wife's car. It's just hard to drive the Cobras 24/7.

Daily driver here, too - rain or shine If I ever get enough money, I'll get a foul weather car. I just went over 10,000 for 18 months - not bad. I LOVE driving this car
