First Warranty Fix -- Not a happy camper
Has anyone else in here had problems with their leather? My passenger seat came undone up near the cobra emblem. Month and a 1/2 later they replaced it. It looks HORRIBLE... now my only options are to let them do it again. Then if that doesn't work, they will try a diff cover. Seats are like night day one is loose and baggy like some 12 year old did it. My question is has anyone had any prob like this and how did yours turn out ??

this is the first seat problem I have heard of dealing with the material in either 01,03, or 04 with the Alcantara seats.
Just a thought, your problem might be the dealer. If they can't fix it right, then seek help from ford and have them let you go to another dealer. Ford Customer care and SVT are the two avenues I would try if the dealer does not get it right in a couple of tries. Good luck

If all else fails tell them to get you a replacement seat.

meeting with 'manager' tomorrow

http://www.dleon.net/cobra_seat.jpg Here is a pic of the chair. As you can see it's very very wrinkly. Tomorrow I have a meeting with the manager who happens to own the dealership so we will see what happens. I just couldnt beleive that the guy was like "oh it looks fine". I pointed out I did not pay for a $10K car, then I woudlnt be as picky. I plan on keeping this car a long time. I kept my 89GT for 10 years before selling it for this 03 cobra. I hope things go well, cause this car is just so awesome. Cant wait to actually have some cash to do some mods to it. |
