Bugged front facia

My front fascia has a lot of road rash. The rest of the car for the most part is ok, but the fascia just bugs the c!@$ out of me. I've tried alot of stuff and nothing has really helped. I'm almost to the point of buying a new one.. Any and all suggesting will be appreciated. By the way its a black 96 cobra with just over 90K miles..

Thanks

I just rolled 100,000 miles while attending the 5th. This bug problem is my biggest annoyance with my car. The owner before me, did nothing to get rid of them I guess. Now, the whole front end is littered with white specks where I know bugs were at one time. I don't see how I can fix it, other than replace, or repaint it. Unfortunately, they show up better on a black car, or in my case, a Pacific Green car. So, any advice would help both of us!

If the paint is damaged. Repaint.

You can try some of the Turtle Wax Color Cure. I used it on a red car I had before the Cobra and it does a fairly good job of covering up chips and imperfections. My bumper was real bad and after using this stuff it was almost invisible. I got it at Wal-Mart. It's cheaper and easier than re-painting. The bad part is that it will need to re-applied every month or so.

I have a bottle of Meguiers Color X, I think that is what it is called. It came in the cleaning kit I won at the 5th. I tried it the other day on my front end. It helped a little. So, that might be an option.

Thanks for the info I think I will try the turtle wax first. I've thought about repainting it but I don't really want to if I don't have to. I appreciate your suggestions..
