New SVT owner
Just pick up my silver 04 SVT from the dealer today. One hour later I'm mixing it up with a Porsche turbo on Mullholland hwy. I did not get on it too hard with only 75 miles on the clock but I think I gave him a little surprise when he goosed thinking he leave me in the lurch only to get a rear view mirror full of SVT grill. This thing has globs of low end torque.
Now if I could only find a job things would be even better........who buys a car while on unemployment anyhow? Go figure. Russ |

Hey Russ
Welcome aboard! I had a simular Porsche experience only mine was with a Boxster (spelling?). I was on a road trip in Arizona on a twisty mountain road and the Porsche wanted to play. It was fun, he was able to late brake into the corners but acceleration out of the corners was all mine. Fun stuff. And in answer to your question, who buys a Cobra that is unemployed, the answer is an Optimist, that's who! Congratulations on your new car, hope you enjoy this place, the people are fun! Check out the Golf shirts that are for sale, the look awesome (shameless plug). |
