Question Suspension Packages from various Companies

Okay I have started working on my suspension with the Eibach Springs and CC plates...but, before I go any further and just start throwing money at different areas I want to get some advice. I see that Griggs Racing, Maximum Motorsports and Steeda..to name a few have some nice suspension kits. I like the Griggs and Maximum Motorsport verisions but, like the Steeda name too. I wanted to know if any of you out there have kits from the above what you thought of them? Would you recommend them? Or do you have another company you might recommend? This stuff is a little to expensive to start one way...then change to a different way half way through...so, I want to get it right the first time. My car is a 98 Cobra..with the suspension mods mentioned above...which may come off if it appears that is the way to go.

Oh and anyone with coilover's? Is this a real good idea or just real expensive?

I have and love Maximum Motorsports. They also have a great team that will help you piece the suspension together for your needs. Griggs is good, but no first hand experience.

Steeda, well, let just say I am NOT impressed, and try not to buy anything from them.

These are just my opinions.

Coil-overs are much better.

Maximum Motorsports is the way to go!! The club usually does a group buy at a discount during Christmas. That way you have something to do in the garage during those long winter nites!!

I have the MM caster/camber plates, torque arm, panhard bar, lower control arms and full length subframe connectors. I am very pleased with the improvement in handling.

Well I'll have to throw my $.02 in here and vote for ANYTHING BUT STEEDA. I personally like the Kenny Brown stuff, Griggs I've heard mixed reviews about and Maximum seems to get good reviews from everyone.

Cool

Thanks to all those who answered...looks like it's either MM or Griggs I will pursue....Hopefully I can find a supplier/installed here on the east coast in my area. If I do he can look forward to seeing me...money in hand!

Well it looks like I'm too late, I already have springs from Steeda. Although I hear from Steeda that they don't make the springs. Does anybody know who might make them. Also, should this effect me setting up the rest of the car with another brand. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Stan, aka Levi http://www.svtcobraclub.com/forums/v...do=view&id=592 just did a full MM suspension on his 98, including the PHB & TA. That thing is insane.
