Spark Plug?

I bought some denso iridium spark plugs and I was going to index them. Which way do I turn the point of the spark plug? Also are the denso's pregapped from the factory? Thanks for any help!!!

You should always check the gap on sparkplugs before installing. I guess I am with the crowd that considers indexing or using high dollar plugs on a stock car not worth the bother. The stock motorcraft plugs preform very well. The plug # and gap setting are located on the sticker on the hood.
