quite a few people have them. They are pretty reliable.

The best out there are the Scott Winger stainless steel ones.

Scott happens to be a SCMC member, and his banner is one of the ones that rotates above..

go to http://www.stainlessbumperletters.com/ for details

I purchased mine fromhttp://www.uprproducts.com/ they came within a week and were about 70 bucks. I like them, but because if the 3m double sided tape they are not recessed. however, they look three dimentional and that's pretty cool. You will have a choice of brushed or polished. I went for the polished and they still look great. (i never take my 03 to the car wash)

Why we endorse Scott Winger stainless letters.....

First and foremost, Scott is an avid Mustang and Mustang Cobra enthusiast and has been a Cobra owner for a long time and he wants nothing but the best for his car and in turn, for your Snake too.

Second, his business supports this organization through raffle donations, discounts, etc... This as a result allows the club to keep the BB that you are using, going each month.

The quality of his letters are second to none and are precision quality products. For the record, SCMC will only deal with reputable businesses and expect the best from them. If they are on our list, it's because they give us the best service, price, and products.

That's not to take away from anyone else, it's just to say that when we recommend a product (of which I personally recommend Scott's letters) it will be a product that youo will be proud to put on your car.

That's also why you see MGW and Late Model Restoration on our advertising bulletin board.

Just my .02 worth. Ultimately, you make your own decision! Check out my 99 before I sold it. I might also add that my car made the Mustang Weekly advertisement when they came out with the numbers.

I would definitely recommend Scott's letters and build numbers. He's awesome to work with. I initially bought letters for my '01 and hadn't put them on since it was winter. In the Spring I ended up trading my '01 for my '03 and Scott exchanged the letters for me, no problem! I also bought two sets of build numbers from him, he has those all layed out on tape ready to apply. Excellent workmanship and what a super guy!

Hi All!

I e-mailed Scott about the inserts. The $65.00 is the club price. Given the quality of the product..which is excellent as I saw some of these in person...that is a really good price. He wished he could do better but, he basically has been providing us a good price all along. So basically..we are already getting a deal! I will be ordering mine now!

I agree with the price! For $65 we get the 16 gauge steel and the precision workmanship, while other places have a low grade steel and selling them for much more!
As soon as I get paid I'm going to get mine, I think?

I had the set on my 01 but got them from ss inserts. They were the 22 guage thickness. They were okay. I had to sand a few burrs off. For the 04, I ordered Scott Wingers letters. Nice cut, no burrs! and 16 guage thick. I will have to wait until spring or a fall heat wave since it is better to have temperatures above 70 for the adhesive to bond properly. One trick to install them is to hand form or bend them slightly to conform to the curve in the bumper before peeling off the adhesive backing paper. Use a wax removal chemical before sticking the letters on. Adhesive does not like to stick to waxed surfaces. Now to find the one's that stick on the hood liner.

In comparison, I think the Scott Winger ones are much better!
