Suspension??
I've got a 04' Cobra and I want to put a better suspension on it! I'm going to keep the stock Bilstein struts, but I want to lower around 1.5"-2" and give it a more aggresive look and better performance!
Any suggestions? I'm on a little bit of a budget also!

H&R's hands down (coil-overs are better, but much more expensive)

If I go with the MM Coil-over conversion, do you think I'll need the full length subframe connectors?
I plan on ordering in a hour or so, any comments would greatly help!!!!!!!!

Just ordered the MM CC plates, Coilover for front and back, and the Full length subframe connectors! Can't wait until they arrive!!!!

good choice MM is top notch stuff.
And Yes, you need the subframes even without any suspension mods, but especially with Coil-overs, otherwise the subframe will deflect instead of letting the coils do their work.

The stock 03 Bilsteins will "Handle" up to 375lbs in the front and 575lbs in the back, but they won't perform well. The best performing street setup for a 04 IMO, is probably 375#lbs in the front with MM race valved bilsteins, and 575(or 600)#lbs in the back with Cobra R Bilsteins notched for coilovers. From here it gets tricky, cause there is a whole bunch of other parts you can get. It depends on how well you want the car to handle. One thing about coil-overs, is that they put pressure on parts of the car that was not specifically designed as a pressure point. Most prevalently, the strut towers. They are designed for struts, not for spring pressure of the front end. I can tell you first hand that when I put on my coil-overs, it felts like they were only doing part of the job, and the rest of the work was done with deflection in the chassis. The cure for that was a Strut Tower brace. It kept the strut towers from deflecting and, its hard to explain, but you could almost tell that the coilover were actually doing the work they were supposed to. Definitely get the sub-frame connectors with the coil-overs, as the key to them, like stated with the strut tower brace, is to get the coil-overs to do their job instead of having the chassis flex.. so anything in chassis bracing or stiffness helps the coil-overs perform. You might want to stick to one brand though if at all possible, since each company designs its pieces with each other. A piece from on company many not match well with another piece form another company. You seem to be on a good start. Unless you just want to dump a whole bunch of money in up front and get all you need(which if you can afford it, is a good way to go). I would start with these parts, and build on them as you noticed areas lacking. Things like, sway bars, bushings, a-arms..etc etc
