Taking care of a Convertible Top

Do I need to do anything to it special? You wax your car but, what do you do with the top? Should I spray it with a protectant? First time Vert owner..so, let me know!

I never did anything for my convertible Saleen and the top held up fine it just faded. I believe that they do make protectant specifically for vert tops. Do a search and see what you come up with.

I would highly suggest a car cover and not to leave it out in the elements without one. If you have a garage then that's a plus!

It took me several years before I got one but, boy do I love it. It's just one in an apartment complex..so, it's not huge but, it does the trick. I can't wait to buy a 4 car garage house with 1 bedroom!!!

Oh yeah...where in Maryland are you SVTcobra04??

That white vert looks sweet. I don't see many of those.

I was thinking about Scotchguarding my ragtop, or using that 303 Aerospace protectant, but it seems to be holding up well without it. I might try that stuff in the last link, thanks for posting that.
