First time out in 03 Cobra

I am new to this board;but, I plan to meet some of you guys at the Jackson dragday. I wanted to post my ET from tonight at my local dragstrip and see if I could get some input on how it compares to some of the cars here. I have a 4lb lower pulley with a 3.10 upper. I have a Magnaflow catback and still have the factory cats on the car. I went a 7.96@92.8 on factory Goodyears. Are these time in line with others?

Well, you got me beat but then I'll see you down in Jackson. I think I ran 8.90's on a lousy track and no experience behind a s/c snake.

Work on your 60' & with that mph, you should be in the hunt for 11s down there. Oh, tires always help. If you've got issues with wheel hop, try BFG DRs; Mine hasn't hopped since & are worth (with me) .2 in the quarter.

I've never run in "good" weather (read 80+ & lowest humidity was 70%). Last time At Jackson was a 12.169 @115.90 air density of 2150. All my corrected runs show 11.8-9 potential from 118-123mph but you know, that really don't mean jack. My 1/8th MPH ranges from 91.8-93 & my best complete runs are 1.90 60' - both with/without DRs. I've thrown away three 1.82-1.89 60's on missed 2-3 shifts. So I am so chompin' at the bit to put a complete quarter pass together & I'm sure that should happen a few times throughout the day Nov. 6.

My best 1/8th is 7.823 @Ware Shoals back in August with a 1.93 60'. So, If we get decent 60's, the big end should take care of itself.

My mods are relatively modest: 2.85 RR upper, AR CAI (9" Kool Blue w/cover) Diablosport Revolutions chip AR Tune (23degrees), Stinger bat-back with Bassani Metallicat mid pipe. Just started using DRs @18-19 psi in mid-July & like I said, wheel hop has vanished. My redfire drinks 95 octane in the upstate

8.17 @ 86mph with K&N Filter, borla stinger catback and nitto drag radials in garbage air with a 1.81 60ft. I've added the MAC CAI and mac prochamber and went 8.19 @ 89.9 mph with a 1.9X 60ft (nitto's are done for).

I'll get the slip posted up here tonight for actual numbers.

Went a best of 7.68 @ 92ish. I've gone 7.70's at 97.XXmph. I'm battling belt slip problems, but I'm having fun with it. I'll have the vid up tonight as well.
