4" exhaust tips, anybody?

Got my Bassani's today. They came with 4 inch tips and those things are huge!!! Do they look ok on the car or are they just too damn big? Anybody using these? Any input would be appreciated.

are you sure you didn't get the PowerStroke Turbo Diesal Exhaust?

They look funny, but plenty of 03/04s are running around withem.

Haha!! I swear, that is exactly what they look like. Not so sure I like them but I'll find out tomorrow when I get it installed.

The 4in watermelon shooters fill the rear valence perfectly. I just removed my stinger catback. Talk about a difference..... the tail end looks so naked now....

Ok guys, got it done this morning. Finally my car sounds like a cobra!!! I am very pleased with the Bassanis and like Smashedheadcat said, the 4 in. tips look pretty damn good. It is almost like they were meant to be on the car. The difference in sound is like night and day. I have always been a Flowmaster fan but I think now I will stick to Bassani. BTW I am still running my factory mid-pipe and the exhaust still sounds nasty.

Are these 4" tips what has been referred to as fart cannons? Did they really come from a ricer catalog?

I admit, they do sound nice.

You sound just like Greg!!!!! He has been giving me a hard time about that too. Yeah, they do look like fart cannons. Now all I need is a 4 cylinder engine to hook them up to .

i would recomend you change your midpipe.. if you dont want it any louder they have some quiet one, or you can make it a bit louder
but this is like stepping on a water hose.. you gotta let it flow out smoother.. it will def help in your 1/4

Do the math

You know, if 4 inch tips net you 20 horsepower, then shouldn't 6 inch tips make you 30 horsepower?

Does anyone have or know where I can see the back of a Cobra with these 4 inch tips installed? I would like to see what it looks like. Dave
