Any Piedmont Triad Cobra owners out there?

Anyone out there in the northern Piedmont/Greensboro/W-S/Eden area?

Heck yea! We need to get as many snake drivers as we can together and start having some cruise-ins. We live in Eden, just north of greensboro. Any ideas?

We live just outside W-S.

Watch out for High Point though. Thanks to Mike they are really cracking down on Cobras.

cool, that's a start. If we can get a group on here, maybe we can work out something.

I am game for cruising. I have passed out many of my business cards to Cobras in the Greensboro area, but have had no responses. Are you a member of the SCMC? If not, why don't you think about joining. It is a great group of people. Let me know when you are free, and if schedules permit, we can cruise in somewhere. Alan(RF Cobra) would probably be interested, too.

not a member yet. Probably will join in a few weeks. Where do you folks do your stomping in the greensboro area when you are there. My wife loves the West Wendover area. (Garden Ridge store ) and Cracker Barrel. I really don't have a preference.

well, being new to the area, I do not know of any "cool" places. I am still finding my way around the restaurants. Speaking of W. Wendover, I work at Sam's Club there. The only downfall is that I usually work every saturday, and has been every other Sunday lately. I love bbq, and am always in search of good bbq joints to eat at. One of the club members was throwing around the idea of doing a scavenger hunt thing sometime. Sounds like it could be a fun thing for the club to do. It is, also, a great way to meet the other Cobra freaks. This club is the best thing you will find, I promise. Your membership fee is so trivial compared to the great friendships you will establish. The club founder, cobrabtn, is a really great guy, and runs a great organization. So, we would love to have you join.

Yeah, I would be glad to join in. Especially after giving mine the final break-in that it needed doing DR 4 in October. My daily commute is only about 12 miles one way and does not allow for an appropriate daily Cobra fix.

It is funny, I used to see Cobras quite often. But ever since I got one it is very rare that I see one when I am out in our area.

I had to run to the Sam's in WS one day. On the way back, I see a black Cobra vert, probably a 99, about a 1/4 mile ahead. Well, I weave in and out of traffic, to catch him, and let him see the club sticker on my side window. I think he thought I wanted to race, as he backed off big time. Whatever. I only wanted to give him a look at the club's website address.

I have just returned from the wilmington area and I didn't see a Cobra the whole 3 days I was there. Lots of V6's, gt's and fox's, but no snakes.

Well my snakes in Asheville on the weekends and most weeks I drive it to Wilmington to work. Newfoundpower and I live in the same apartment complex in Wilmington and I have only seen a few snakes here in Wilmington. If you plan on being in Wilmington post on the forums here and maybe we can hookup.

You live in Asheville and work in Wilmington? Lots of scenery between those 2 points.

@sniperfox, I ran into another Cobra owner today at work. He drives a yellow 95 convertible Cobra. Very nice car. I spoke with him for a bit, very nice guy. He is thinking of joining the club. Anyways, he told me there is a cruise in/show every thursday night in High Point on Main St. near the Sonic, in a parking lot. So, there is a start to finding something to do. Maybe we can find some more snake owners there, too.
