To put a Saleen kit on a Mustang GT is fine but I think you should leve a Cobra - A Cobra....Don't Rice a Cobra.

The more plastic you put on your car, the more plastic falls off. Just my .02

Personally, you should do with whatever makes you happy because you have to drive the car not us. However, since you are asking opinions here....

If it were me (I'm somewhat of a purist), I would leave the car alone and maybe add a few cosmetic mods. Now others will want to add a ton of mods and there is no right and no wrong but I'd rather be unsuspecting and blow the competition away then to be showy and give them a hint. (Of course, this is hard with a Mystichrome ).

I have to agree with Orange Crush and so there you have it. If I were to have a Saleen Cobra, it would be the real thing made by Saleen but that will never happen so there's no need in talking about it I guess? There are somethings I like about them and some things I don't. My biggest beef is with the Saleen wing..... no can do. I do however, like the graphics but am not favorable to the body side panels or bumper covers. On the 99-01, I like the air scoops on the sides.

I said all that to say this, I agree with Orange Crush but I still feel you should do whatever is going to make you happy. Or maybe you can invest that $$ in some more mods for your current snake!

I gotta agree with Tony...Saleens are cool but, do that to a GT. That's like saying I want to take a Roush and make it a Cobra or turn a Steeda into a Saleen. These cars are all great, powerful and a beauty to behold...just like the Mona Lisa...so, why mess with the perfection you already have? Put the dollars under the hood and suspension...and you will have a car that looks as good, if not better than any of the others...and you will smoke them!

Oh and as soon as they catch back up to you...they will be asking you how they can make thier car...like yours!

Just my .02 but, in the end...you have to do what you want to do...as you make the payments..and it's your car.

If it's not already, my nomination is to make this statement one of the first 3 commandments on the to do list. Oh yeah...in that EXACT order too.

The next one on the tablet would be for everyone to read every inch of these forums... Believe me when I say that 90% of the normal daily questions have been answered, and in DETAIL in earlier posts from several different perspectives.
