A Sad Day =(

Well...I finally sold my 98...I waved bye to her on Wednesday! She is gone but, not forgotten....I hope her new owner treats her as good as I did...

Now..I have to buy a beater vehicle for the winter...so, I don't have to pull the 04 Garage Queen out of her sleep this winter!

That sucks man....especially since I've always wanted a '98 CY. I'll keep the white one and perhaps get a CY sometime down the line.

It is hard letting an old friend go. I still miss the black 01. Nothing was more satisfying than finnishing the detailing and stepping back to see it shine. I find it hard to get that deep polished look from the silver 04. But at least it does not look dirty after driving it only one day. Plus the kick in the pants reminds me that I made the right choice as I notice the pegged boost guage when I mash down on the throttle. I do know that someone has bought the 01 soon after I traded it in. A friend of mine reported seeing me driving by his home but then remembered I sold the car. Not too many black 01's with SLP cat-back, silver polished billet fuel door, and 04 styled wheels on the road. At least I now know someone else is enjoying the car as much as I did and not sitting on some back lot rusting away.

As for a beater winter vehicle, avoid any 95/96 ford explorers AKA EXPLODER. I have one and it lets me down every time I need to use it (hence why I have snow tires for the Cobra, I hope I do not have to rely on it when it snows).

Funny you should call it an exploder that is exactly what my brother called his. Rite up until his son detonated it. boom its gone.
