Apten Blower..

Ok guys, we want to start modding the Cobra. We want to eventually get it up to about 500 rwhp. Do you guys think that Apten is the best way to go to get there? We dont really want to mess with a totally new s/c and the Apten seems like a good deal. Any advice on how to get to our goal would be greatly appreciated...thanks guys.

Edit: This route was suggested on the site...would this be a good way to go?

First stage: Basic Bolt-ons
Following these will get your '03 Cobra up in the 400-420RWHP Range. They are listed in the order we suggest.
  1. Tune
  2. 2.93 pulley
  3. Cold air intake

Second Stage: Heavy Street Power
Putting all of these together with the first stage will get your into the range of 480RWHP.
  1. Cat-back exhaust system
  2. Apten Performance Supercharger
  3. 2.85" pulley change for Apten Supercharger
  4. Aftermarket tensioner
  5. NGK TR6 or Ford AWSF22 spark plugs gapped to around 0.40
  6. Upgraded heat exchanger
Taken directly from the site...thanks for the help guys.

Cody...friend of mine just installed the Apten himself on his '04 Cobra and hit 501rwhp last week. I'll get a list of his mods for you guys.

just take into count that you already have a huge lower pulley, so you don't want to overspin the blower. you just have to get the proper upper to make the desired #'s of boost.
