car scales?
I got the G-tech Road Race meter for XMAS and it is outstanding. However, I need to know the exact mass of my car to make it work correctly.
Where (hopefully in northwest Houston) can I get my car weighed? A recycling place or truck scales maybe?

do truck weight stations let cars weigh in? If so you can just find one of those on the interstate.
Also, I wanna say Mike Bell (Admiral) said he had corner weighting scales once (4 scales to put under each wheel). You might wanna PM him..

I don't know about there in Texas, but here in Oregon the truck weigh stations usually keep their scales on and accessible. every once in awhile they might cover up the readout, but just go back another time and it will be left uncovered.

hey man why don't you go to HRP next weekend when they open and do it. You will have to pay to get in but that is the only place I can think of.

Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coimng, if anyone does know of someplace close to The Woodlands.
I don't think I want to go to HRP for a number of reasons. Primarily because I have been practicing my launches using the G-Tech, and both I and the car really suck. It would be a waste until the suspension gets worked on. Also, I have to spend my "cobra time" wisely and would rather try to go to MSR in Feb if folks are going. I don't know if I'll get much cobra time after child 3 arrives in March.
