I'm not up on what is included in the Vortec kit, but look like most is all there. The oil feed line, adapter for oil return to oil pan, oil pan tap, oil pump adapter, T rex fuel pump, air filter, bolts & instructions look to be missing?. It says the boost retard is included, but not shown. I'd get a pic of the impeller. It is the V-2 head unit, I think it is better than the V1. Is it the SQ head unit? If it is so new, does it come with a warrenty, new Vortecs come with a 3 year warrenty. Ask about any leaks on the head unit.
Check the Vorted site for the 94\95 systems & compare here: http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...95mustang.html http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...tegory_Code=SS Would need to find out if what the calibration of the FMU is, there are disks that can be changed to compensate for different injectors. What size pulley is on there. If you car is stock, then you don't want to have more than 10 lbs of boost. The buy it now price seems a little high considering you can get a new one for $2300 on SVTperformance, http://67.15.62.79/forums/showthread.php?t=142694. Start asking questions with the sell. Wonder what the reserve is? Keep us informed & keep asking questions. I just installed a Powerdyne on my 94, it's good to be blown. |

Looks like everything is there and looks like it's in good condition too! That would be an ok deal if you can get it for around a grand of so, I'd email him and ask a little more about it and why he's getting rid of it! If it only has 500 miles on it, what's the reason for selling it and if he had any problems out of it.
Just my .02, but good luck with it. That will save you some money so that you can purchase more goodies for your car!

Did you email the sell & ask any questions? In my "opinion" the buy it now price of 1800 is a little high. Hopefully the reserve is cheaper.
Here is one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MEWA:IT . That auction has ended. Which includes injectors, MAF meter & power pipe. Are you set on a Vortec? Be patient on looking on Ebay, they do come up. Watch out when buying from Corral or Stangnet, lots of scammers, unless it is local. |
