'06 Cobra availability

I have no possibility of affording a new Cobra when they come out, but if they are to be unvailed in 64 days, like Firme's posts say, when are they expected to be available for actual buying?

Any idea what MSRP is going to be? $35,000? Less?

They should be out in mid-06 to be sold as an 07 year model.

The projected price is mid to high 30's but we won't know until they are unveiled. But nothing is certain until they unveil I guess.

Hmmm...I can't see ford doing the side exhaust thing (although it looks pretty cool) and being that the car is heavier than the current model, I wonder if 465hp will be that much of a difference to anyone but a professional driver.
However, there's nothing OEM that can't be improved upon with just a few mods

And so, I patiently await the birth of the next generation Cobra.

I just doubt that we will see a 5.4 supercharged cobra and especially one in the $30's.

From what I understand, Ford has the new Cobra conceiled as far as looks so as to not get attention on the road.

It'll either be a tweaked SC 4.6 DOHC or a SC 5.4 3V-mostly likely. Look for 450-480HP. I'm also betting the coupe will be 39,999.99 and the vert will be 5k more, just like the did with the V6/GT. I'm already saving for my spring 06 order of an 07 Cobra coupe.
