Fun Ford Weekend - Va Motorsport
Kerry, the track is about 6-8 miles south of Petersburg. If you come up 460 to Petersburg, take 85 south several miles to route 1 south and go about 4 miles you'll be there. There are some hotels in Petersburg but I would suggest going north 6-8 miles on 95 from Petersburg to the Chester area. Lots of new hotels have opened in the past 2 years and personally I think you would feel more confortable with your vehicle there. Jerry

Im thinking on coming up for just Sat. Is it worth driving 3hrs for this show? I drove about 3 hrs for the show in Norwalk, Ohio and was worth it. I think they usually have around 3k car there including show and race cars. Atleast that what they said. A big vendor section there also.
How is this one? Big vendor area? Also i like to watch the true steet cars. How many car usually run this class? I know it grows every year. Thanks Kerry |

Fun Ford in Diwinddie will not have 3000 show & race cars. Its not a bad show and it is growing every year.
The best thing I can suggest is to check it out at least once and see if you like it. I will probably go down and check it out if I am in town that weekend.
