I've looked at them before and for what you get, it seemed overpriced ... but then again, isn't everything
![]() Anyway, I intend to use it to work on my car and just park under it (in raised position) almost normally at other times. May have to remove and/or relocate my automatic garage door opener though ![]()

I am planning on buying a 2-post. I have looked at both and I like the ability to have clear access to the wheels and underside of the car that a 2-post gives. In my search around the net the best deal I have found is this:

I had originally looked at two post lifts and those prices are very tempting, but I didn't want to have to drill holes into the concrete to mount a permanent lift. I don't even know how thick my concrete is...
Four post lifts can be moved around with casters and you can still get to the tires with jacking rails which span both runners and either use jack stands of a hydraulic jack that can lift that end of the car. Quote:
