Don't let the dog drive
|
I use the Meguires NXT products. I can't wait until it warms up a bit more, I am not fond of the local car wash since I have my own pressure washer. Best to use the car wash than freeze mine up. I am longing for warm weather, since I bought the 04 in the tial end of October last year, I have not had much time to go over everything, I have a bit of work in the engine bay area since I have found some paint runs in visible areas I may wet sand and buff them out then clear coat the area, or just leave them as they are. The paint is perfect everywhere else, but not show quality under the hood. It is not that bad, I have seen worse. I also noticed some overspray of silver on areas that should be black (in the wheel wells on the splash gards). Makes me wonder if it was wrecked before I bought it. I will be looking for any signs of rust under the car to start off since I drove it in the salt covered roads. I did notice one or two small spots when I changed the exhaust in November.

I was sold on Meguiars too...but, after seeing some results from a brand called ClearKote...I am going to try it. Awesome results.

I'm with Ausie....Meguiar's NXT. Used some the other day and was very pleased with the results.
I gotta wash it sometime before the AutoFair, but looking at the weather it may wash itself! ![]()
