I suggest doing a search on this bulletin board as this has been discussed numerous times and in depth.

Basically, there are several ways to reduce the wheel hop to acceptable levels. (You will never totally get rid of it unless you put a live axle in the car):

Things to consider:

1. Change out the IRS bushings to a stiffer bushing like Steeda
2. Lower the car with some progressive sport springs (highly recommended)
3. Use an air bag inside one of the springs to stop the see saw effect
4. Get a stickier set of tires for the street or drag radials for the strip. (BTW, you don't win races by showboating the tires and spinning. Anyone can spin tires these days...even a Saturn. Burning rubber is one thing but letting the general public hear your car 's supercharger is much more effective. )

Not sure why you would want to spin??? Take a look at older threads to get more information.

You can think of it as a straight axle. It's what most vehicles that are rear wheel drive have.
