Nice Corvette owner

Hey guys, it was a beautiful day today, 80+ degrees. I got off of work at 2:15, and dropped the top for the ride home. I was cruising in traffic, looked in the mirror, and saw a teal 92 or 93 Corvette convertible following me. We go a few miles, me riding in 3rd feeling the fun of the 4.10's. I get in the left turn lane, to go to the house. He pulls up beside me. By the way, the Mach 460 system is cranking at a deafening rate. I notice he is trying to speak to me. So, I turn down the radio, only to hear him tell me that he thinks the Cobras are the best sounding car on the road. A tip of the hat, and a "your car aint so bad" gesture, and I am on my way home.

Nice guy!

See why can't there be more people like that on the road, rather than those ricers that always want to rev and race everyone!

I had a run in with another vett driver (same one who took me to the cleaners). The reason he followed me in the first place was the exhaust tones that was pumping out at normal driving speed. Having a good exhaust note usually attracts good comments, and sometimes those pesky imports and thier oversized fart cannons. Perhaps the Cobra is the target for testing a bench mark for their vehicles performance. "If I could beat a Cobra, I could beat anything" probably races through their heads. Perhaps that Porche boxter kill in the econo package gave them the thought that they could conquer the streets. If you want a bench mark, take on a Viper! since you would probably come across one of those than a Fararri Enzo or Ford GT.
